I’m Nidhi Sharma.

A fashion stylist for more than a decade. I’ve styled bodies, faces, moods, and stories. But somewhere in between shoots, fittings, and fast fashion cycles, I started craving something slower. Something rooted. Something that didn’t change every season.
About Girija
What Sets Us Apart
That’s how Girija Art Jewels was born. The name 'Girija' comes from Goddess Parvati, daughter of the mountains. Strength wrapped in softness. Grace with power. I’ve always felt drawn to temple energy, especially in Uttarakhand, where devotion feels raw, not decorative.
I didn’t want to build just another jewellery brand. I wanted to build pieces that feel like they’ve lived before you wore them.
Brass chose me. Not gold. Not diamonds.
Brass — imperfect, warm, earthy, bold. A metal that ages with you. That carries stories on its surface. That doesn’t scream luxury… it feels like it.
Every piece at Girija is handcrafted. No factories. No mass shine. Just skilled hands, slow detailing, and intentional design.
As a stylist, I understood silhouettes.
As a woman, I understood emotion.
As a founder, I understood value.
Girija is not about trends. It’s about presence.
It’s for the woman who doesn’t need loud branding. She walks into a room, and the jewellery doesn’t overpower her
— it echoes her.
This brand is my shift from styling others
to creating something of my own. From borrowed glamour to inherited strength.
Girija is not corporate.
It is personal.
It is prayer in metal.
It is a heritage you can wear.

Our Mission
Well, the mission isn’t polished or corporate; it’s personal, almost stubborn.
It’s about sitting with raw materials and heavier emotions and refusing to let either go to waste. Every piece of jewellery becomes proof that something fragile can still be shaped, still be strong, still be seen. This isn’t about trends or perfection—it’s about showing up, again and again, even when it’s hard. It’s about taking what life hands you – limitations, doubt, and quiet struggles – and turning it into something that can be held, worn, and felt. Something that says, 'I was here; I made this; I didn’t give up.'
Rooted in handmade artistry, this is about creating with honesty, intention, and no shortcuts. It’s about self-reliance, using craft as a path to independence, and choosing expression over silence.
At its core: creating jewellery that isn’t just worn but felt—quietly powerful, deeply personal, and made to last.

Fine Quality
Quality, for us, is not perfection — it is character.
Each Girija piece is handcrafted by skilled artisans who bring years of tradition into every curve and detail. We work with brass not to imitate luxury but to redefine it — embracing its warmth, depth, and evolving beauty.
No mass production. No artificial shine.
Only thoughtful design, careful craftsmanship, and jewellery that ages with you — developing a patina that tells your story over time.
Because true quality is not just seen — it is felt.

Sustainability
Sustainability at Girija is a conscious choice — not a trend.
We believe in slow creation over fast consumption. By choosing handcrafted processes and small-batch production, we reduce waste and honour the time and effort behind every piece.
Brass, as a material, is long-lasting and recyclable — allowing each creation to live longer, evolve, and even be reborn.
We work closely with artisans, supporting traditional skills and mindful production practices that respect both people and the planet.
For us, sustainability is not just about materials — it’s about intention, respect, and creating pieces that are meant to stay.
